If you have ever purchased fresh cut flowers (or plan to) from Lee, this is where it all happens! It is hard to believe that from these rows will grow a variety of flowers: dahlias, tulips, Dutch iris, bachelor buttons, zinnias, babies breath, peonies (14 rows!), daffodils, and pineapple lilies. She also grows a variety of vegetables: bok hoy, green onions, dill, garlic, daikon radish, red leaf lettuce, sugar snap peas, bitter melons, and ginger root. She mostly farms on her own, but the family has been know to pitch in if help is needed. Lee has also promised to provide some recipes this year- yum! Lee can be found at the Salisbury Rowan Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. You can also follow her on Facebook.
