Bread Riot Grant Recipient Talton Correll Featured in North Carolina Field & Family Magazine

The young entrepreneur started Talton’s Eggs in 2016 and has grown it into a successful farm business.

Talton Correll, the young Rowan County farmer who owns Talton’s Eggs, was featured in the Spring 2023 issue of North Carolina Field & Family, the magazine for NC Farm Bureau members.

At just 10 years old, Talton started an egg business on his family’s farm in Cleveland, North Carolina. He was awarded a $500 Small Farmer Grant from Bread Riot in 2018, and he used the funds to expand his operation. Today, Talton is 16 years old and has become well known locally, providing eggs to residents via farmers markets and home delivery baskets and to area restaurants.

The Bread Riot board is so proud of Talton’s success. Click here to read the article.
